Charles is actively involved in the local cannabis community, and his journey is deeply rooted in advocacy and passion. He has worked with grassroots cannabis advocacy groups focused on expungement efforts, has served as a Policy Pavilion moderator at the National Cannabis Festival, and participates in networking events connecting cannabis entrepreneurs and creatives. His expertise was recognized when he won 2nd place in the Best Sativa category at the 2018 DC State Fair Best Bud Contest, and he serves as a judge for grow competitions throughout the DMV.

Having lived and worked here for most of his life, he’s not just familiar with our community—he’s been a long-time resident. His extensive business connections along 14th Street further strengthen his ties to the area, making him an invaluable asset to our team.
With a wealth of experience in cannabis cultivation and production, Steve’s journey began in the pioneering legal market of Colorado. He led the build-out and management of commercial medical marijuana grow facilities in Denver and has over 13 years of experience producing cannabis extractions, concentrates and edibles. Steve even co-developed LED grow lights specifically designed for the cannabis market and provided consultation services to grow facilities, showcasing his deep technical expertise in the industry.
But Steve’s talents don’t stop there. As a licensed real estate agent serving the DMV, an investor in a multi-level Adams Morgan dining experience.
With over 20 years of experience in both digital and traditional marketing, Steve brings a unique blend of business acumen and community insight to our team. He’ll be working closely with our marketing vendors, playing a key role in our brand-building efforts, loyalty programs and social media campaign.
